Dear Sleepagotchi Friends,
We are nearing the end of Sleepagotchi Beta Season 2, which means that Sleepagotchi 2.0 is just around the corner. We have been working hard behind the scenes on Sleepagotchi 2.0 which will be a new and improved version of the app with new gameplay, new art, and even more fun!
We know that everyone has been working hard collecting, and that is why we are excited to announce rewards for the items you have collected this season! We have designed a points system and associated rewards for reaching each points milestone with the following principles in mind:
- Incentivize more marketplace trading
- Reward collection of max level items, and higher rarity items
- Higher community participation should be rewarded
- Simple to understand
Points System
The points system was implemented with the help of our friends at Carma, and we are able to track items in your individual Sleepagotchi accounts. The following criteria are required for items to be counted towards your points progression:
- Item must be max level, level 3 (super/myth), level 5 (common, uncommon, rare)
- Duplicate items will not count towards points
- You must own the item in your inventory (If any item is sold, points are deducted)
The point values for individual rarities are listed in the tables below as well as the number of items of a certain rarity we have in the app:
We designed the point values so that with each increasing rarity there is an increased difficulty to acquire max leveled items, but the point rewards are far greater.
Rewards
Of course, with this points system there are rewards! We wanted everyone to have the chance to obtain rewards, especially the users that are consistently joining our community events and engaging with other Sleepagotchi members. Therefore, the rewards system is based on reaching specific points milestones. The rewards milestone are listed below:
The rewards listed above are aimed to make being a part of our community even more fun by increasing your chances to win more rewards and earn more points to spend in the Gotchi Gift Shop!
Additionally, with the higher level point milestones, we plan to reward the users with cosmetic items related to your Sleepagotchi pet. These rewards will be cosmetic, and they will showcase your status as a hardcore collector to all future players to come! We currently have placeholder names for the cosmetic rewards, the actual rewards will be announced when finalized. Sleepagotchi pets will be our next priority after the launch of Sleepagotchi 2.0, and we are excited for the fun ways the Pets can be used in the core game.

Sleepagotchi has always been a collectibles game, and we want our players to take pride in each item you collect in the game. The goal of this points system and associated reward is to allow everyone to feel rewarded for the hard work you put into improving your sleep schedule and collecting new items!
